Thank you for visiting the Richfield School District website. I joined Richfield at the start of the 2016-17 school year and am excited about the direction our district is heading. In my current role with the district, I am the principal at both Richfield and Plat elementary schools.
Prior to joining Richfield School District, I received my bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. During the spring of 2013, I earned a master’s degree in educational leadership from Cardinal Stritch University. While earning both degrees, I participated in educational field experiences in the Milwaukee, Milton, and Wauwatosa public school districts.
I began my teaching career as a substitute teaching in Wauwatosa. After serving as a long-term substitute in 5th grade, I was hired as a 4th grade teacher at Eisenhower Elementary in Wauwatosa. Upon completion of my master’s degree, I transition into a role as dean of students at Eisenhower. During the 2015-16 school year, I was again hired by the Wauwatosa School District as an elementary instructional coach. As a coach, I worked with classroom teachers and special educators to design and deliver inclusive instruction for students from K5 - 5th grade.
Both my education and work experience provided me a solid background to begin my career as an administrator in the Richfield School District. The environment and educational experience the district offers is unique and I am proud to be a member of the community.
